Neurofeedback
Introduction to Neurofeedback
Neurofeedback is a globally used, scientifically recognized method for measuring and improving brain activity. It is based on the latest findings in brain research, which suggest that certain conditions are associated with typical changes in brainwave patterns.
Brain activity, normally imperceptible through our senses, can be visualized through sensors attached to the scalp. Similar to biofeedback, a playful computer-based training optimizes brainwaves, leading to sustained improvements in perception, attention, cognition, behavior, and well-being.
Therapy on the screen is experienced as extremely exciting, entertaining, and motivating by trainees of all ages. Through visual representation, both positive and negative aspects become visible. Trainees quickly recognize differences and can thus improve their condition in a targeted manner. Neurofeedback can also be used to enhance performance.
